Special education services play a crucial role in providing support and accommodations to students with diverse learning needs or disabilities. These services aim to ensure that all students, regardless of their abilities, have access to a quality education and opportunities for personal growth. Individualized education plans (IEPs) are developed for students who qualify for these services. IEP’s may include direct services for academic skills, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy and other interventions that address specific learning challenges. The ultimate goal is to help these students reach their full potential and participate fully in the educational environment and society.

Our Special Education Services serves students with mild to moderate disabilities. Common types of learning disabilities involve chronic difficulty in reading, writing, math, reasoning, listening, and speaking. Once a student is identified with a need for special education services, an Individual Education Plan or IEP is created. An IEP will state specific goals that are tailored to each student's needs. Our Special Education Service providers, along with students and their families, work towards meeting these goals in order for students to successfully participate in the regular education classroom.
