Welcome to Mrs. Beth Stewart's Class
My name is Beth Stewart. I've been teaching since August 2007. I've had the privilege of working at Unity since my first year teaching, and I'm so grateful to be here! I've been teaching 3rd grade since 2011. Before moving to 3rd grade, I taught 2nd grade.
My father was in the military as I grew up, so I have lived in many different places. I was born in Kansas, and moved to Florida where my sister was born, then to Kentucky where my brother was born. I have lived in New York, Germany (twice!), and my father retired to TN in 1995. I feel that this experience has made me the teacher and person I am today, and has instilled in me a love for travel and the world.
My husband, son, and I live in the Cornersville area on a farm that my husband manages. We live in a remodeled farm house that is over 100 years old. In my spare time I enjoy farming, camping, boating, and anything involving technology.
I have wanted to be a teacher as long as I can remember. I used to play "school" with my siblings any time they'd let me. :) This is my dream job & I'm very passionate about it. I'm always trying to learn and grow as a person and teacher so that students develop a love of learning as I have.
