Bio:

My name is Sonya Jeans. I have been a school counselor in Lincoln County since 2008 and have been counseling at Unity School since 2014. Before becoming a school counselor, I worked as a licensed professional counselor at an inpatient drug and alcohol treatment program for adolescents. I have enjoyed doing volunteer work through Helpline and the Red Cross and continue to do volunteer work through other nonprofit and private organizations.

I have always wanted to work with young people. I am so thankful to be working with the students and families of this community. I am also thankful Unity School is so supportive of our school counseling program.
