Lincoln County High School (LCHS) will host a Career & Technical Education (CTE) Open House Night for any students in grades 8-12. This event will be held at LCHS on February 6, 2023 from 4-7 PM. During this time parents, students, and stakeholders will be able to tour our facilities, meet our instructors, learn from current students, hear about career and technical support organizations, and learn about various dual enrollment program offerings. 

Next year LCHS will increase the number of dual enrollment classes offered on campus. Students interested in participating in dual enrollment courses are highly encouraged to meet with their school counselors regarding available opportunities. Representatives from Motlow Community College and TCAT-Shelbyville will be set up in the Common’s Area to discuss dual enrollment opportunities that are available on the LCHS campus and additional off-campus opportunities. They will be able to answer any questions that parents and students may have regarding dual enrollment. A dual enrollment focus session will be held in the LCHS Auditorium beginning at 6:00PM for any interested parents and/or students.

In conjunction with the LCHS CTE Open House, a Scholarship Workshop will be held in the LCHS Library from 4-7 PM. This workshop will allow parents and students to gain knowledge about available scholarships and provide help in completing applications. Parents and students will be served on a first come, first served basis during this time frame.
